Back to Reality

I had such a great time with Kaitlin this last week. She hopped on a plane to head back to California today and it was sad. Partly because I am going to miss her in the next 5 weeks, but also because now it's back to the daily grind. In the past few days, we've gotten to explore, taste and enjoy Savannah in all of its Spring time glory and now that Kaitlin is gone, I find myself scribbling down a to-do list on nonsense of homework and chores and thinking about making a marketing trip to stock up on the same 5 meals I eat every week. But before completely let go of this week and forget all the fun we had, what kind of blogger would I be if I didn't share with you all some pics of our lovely week together.

Right after I picked her up at the airport. So happy to finally be together!

Grabbing praline samples after dinner at City Market.

Fun with self-timer pics at Nathaniel Greene Square.

Seeing Water for Elephants (again) at Sea Turtle Cinemas.

Gotta love the self-timer.

Headed out to Bonadventure Cemetery.

I like this one.

Toy Story 3 in the Park.

Just some friendly rough housing. I won.

Went to Tybee Island and explored the marshlands.

Back at Forsyth Park for the Sidewalk Chalk Art Fair.

About to head to a delicious dinner at Local11Ten.

Ended an amazing week with amazing desserts at Lulu's Chocolate Bar.

Kates, I had sooo much fun showing you around Savannah and introducing you to my life here. I love you so much and I can't wait to see spend the whole summer together in 5 weeks!
