The
daughter of an enthusiast and a builder, I am forever caught in the war between
the flight of my fancies, and the necessity of a practical and sturdy

a fashion student with a writing minor. I like crispy, cool
weather, striped t-shirts and the feeling of accomplishment that comes with

Today,
my life as an art student is full of the uncertain joys of unanswerable
questions, basking in the love of most hilarious and uplifting family and friends,
going grocery shopping even when I don’t want to and, oh by the way, creating myself
and who I want to be in the meantime. I am learning to balance it all in the most
female, 20-something, teetery tottery sort of way I know how: Very carefully.
Very slowly. And with lots and lots of Oreos and milk.
