Hair Brained

Ok, guys. I'm about to go to the salon to finally get my hair fixed, and the plan is to go with something that will make my blonde mess a little more palatable, but all week I've been having  little conversatations with myself wondering if I should do something a little... riskier.

I know that this is a totally stupid idea-- one that inevitably I'll immediately regret-- sort of like that time a week ago when I thought it'd be a good idea to dye my hair bleach blonde.

But, I don't know! These girls all look so awesome and cool, yeah? Or is it just because they're models? I don't know! I sort of feel like taking a walk on the wild side.

Should I do it!? Speak now!

Towhead

Do you ever have that moment when you're at a Bakery with your friends and after a conversation lasting no more than 25 seconds about how bored you are with your hair, you decide that you should head to CVS and dye your entire head bleach blonde in your kitchen? And then when it doesn't really pan out as well as you'd originally hoped, you have to spend about 8 hours of your day originally allotted for intense homeworking on fixing said bleach blonde orange hair into something a little less offensive?
No?

Just me?

Ok. Cool.

It's rough. It's orange.  It's a little pink too. But I'm here. Standing before you. Hatless and crying laughing with you.

What'd you do this weekend?

Hair Cut

I am happy happy happy. Because today I get a haircut.

Yip yip yip. Snip snip snip. Clip clip clip.

That is my happy haircut song.

Anyway-- it is schedule for immediately after work today and so now, when getting dressed, I have the tough task of deciding what I want to be wearing so that I feel my absolute best post haircut. You want to wear something that is comfortable and familiar enough that you know you like yourself in it in case the hair cut is a total bust, but I also like to wear something with a little pizazz because it's just that much more fun to leave the salon and walk around with the feeling that you own the place, ya know?

And then the fact that New York City is a virtual sweat lodge mightily limits my usual choices.

Am I the only one that thinks this way? Tell me that you guys think extra hard about your haircut outfit too...
