After all the hub-bub of the season, I feel cut off from all of the red and green, all of the paper snowflakes, all of the cheery music and all the hype.
Nothing good really comes out of January. February has Valentines day... don't get me started. March has St. Patricks day, which apparently is a huge deal in Savannah. But a beer-less St. Patty's begs the question: What's the point? I always get pinched.
Why am I such a party pooper?
Excuuussseee mmmmeeeee.... but I think January has a few important days in it which should be celebrated with gusto and outrageous happiness . . .
ReplyDelete...I'm just saying . . . .
Don't even get me started about your anti-Valentine's Day feelings. YAY FEBRUARY!!!

I think we should all leave our Christmas trees up and decorate them for each holiday of the month. January you can do candles, cakes and icecream for your mom, hearts, cupids and chocolate kisses for Valentine's and so on and so on and so on.....
